Akron Locals Who Take Snow Personally

We live here, we drive these roads, and we know exactly how bad a Northeast Ohio winter can get.

Our Story

Built for Winters Like Ours

G.O.A.T. Snow Plow Services started the way most good snow companies do — one truck, one blade, and a list of neighbors who were tired of contractors that stopped answering the phone in February.

The name is a joke that turned into a standard. If you’re going to call yourself the Greatest Of All Time, the driveway had better be clear before the alarm goes off and the lot had better be open before the first car pulls in. So that’s how we run it.

Today we handle residential routes and commercial contracts across Summit County and into Portage, Medina, and Stark. What hasn’t changed is who answers the storm line: someone who knows your property, not a dispatcher three states away reading a ticket.

How We Operate

Three Rules We Don’t Break

Answer the phone

During an active event the storm line is staffed around the clock. Not voicemail, not a callback queue — a person who can tell you where the truck is.

Put it in writing

Trigger depth, service window, salting terms, and price are agreed before the season. Nobody gets a surprise invoice in February.

Finish the job

The apron, the walk, the entrance, the ramp. The parts a blade can’t reach are the parts that actually hurt people, so they get done too.

Why the G.O.A.T.

Greatest Of All Time Isn’t Just the Name

Anyone can bolt a blade to a pickup. Here’s what actually separates a snow contractor you can rely on at 3 AM.

Fully Licensed & Insured

$2 million general liability plus commercial auto. Certificates of insurance issued to your property before the season starts.

Photo-Documented Visits

Every commercial service is logged with time-stamped photos. If a slip-and-fall claim ever lands on your desk, the record already exists.

Boss DXT & SaltDogg Equipped

Boss DXT plows for clean scrape and stacking power, SaltDogg spreaders for even material application. Maintained and staged before every event.

24/7 Storm Dispatch

A real person answers the storm line at 3 AM. We run continuous loops during long lake-effect events instead of waiting for it to stop.

Akron Locals, Not a Call Center

We live here. We know which Summit County hills ice first and which lots the city plow re-buries an hour after we leave.

Clear, Written Agreements

Trigger depth, service window, salting terms, and pricing are all in writing before winter. No surprise invoices in February.

What Customers Say

Trusted Across Summit County

Property managers and homeowners who stopped worrying about the forecast.

★★★★★
We manage three retail plazas in Cuyahoga Falls and had been through two contractors in four years. G.O.A.T. mapped every lot before the season and we have not opened late once. The photo logs alone are worth the contract.

I am on a corner lot in Akron and the city plow used to wall me in every single storm. These guys come back and clear the apron without me having to call. Best money I spend all winter.

Our medical office cannot have ice in the lot, period. They pre-treat before the storm, salt again after, and check for refreeze overnight. Patients get in safely and our insurance carrier is happy.
